Procedures for Addressing the Council The Council encourages interested people to address this legislative body by making a brief presentation on a public hearing item when the Mayor calls the item or address other items under Matters from the Audience. State Law prohibits the City Council from responding to or acting upon matters not listed on this agenda. This meeting is being conducted consistent with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-29-20 dated March 17, 2020, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Public Comments can be submitted in writing to the City Clerk at cityclerksgroup@cityofbrea.net and will be summarized at the meeting by the City Clerk. Synrgo Project and Associated California Public Finance Authority Bond Financing - Authorize the City Manager to deliver a letter to the California Public Finance Authority (CalPFA) confirming public benefit findings in connection with a proposal by Synrgo Inc. (Synrgo) to acquire two M2 General Industrial properties, make interior improvements to existing buildings on the properties, and add new equipment. CalPFA is proposing to issue bonds for the project.
13. The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, Local Streets and Roads Funding For Fiscal Year 2020-21 - Adopt Resolution No. 2020-020, adopting a List of Projects Funded by SB1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act.
14. Professional Services Agreement with Structure Six Engineers for the design of Fire Station No.1 Seismic Retrofit Project (CIP 7923) - Approve Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Structure Six Engineers in the amount of $84,990 plus 10% contingency for the Design of Fire Station No. 1 Seismic Retrofit Project (CIP 7923). Funding for the Project will be from the FARP Fund (Fund 182) and was approved for FY 2018-19 within the CIP.
